What is Dr.Tim's Ammonium Chloride Solution?
A fishless cycling treatment made from reagent-grade ammonium chloride, specially formulated to fuel nitrifying bacteria growth. Unlike traditional solutions or pure ammonia, it includes secondary reagent-grade materials that simulate organic matter and accelerate bacterial colonisation.
How to Use
Apply 4 drops per gallon (4.5 litres) of aquarium water. Measure carefully, ammonium chloride is toxic to fish, plants, and invertebrates and must be completely consumed by bacteria before adding livestock.
Use ammonia and nitrite test kits throughout cycling to ensure water is ammonia-free before introducing inhabitants.
