The Fluval Flex 2.0 aquarium series brings a fresh update to a popular range, offering enhanced design flexibility, smart functionality, and upgraded performance for freshwater aquariums. Available in 9 US Gal (34 L) and 15 US Gal (57 L) sizes, the Flex 2.0 integrates a reconfigured filtration system, enhanced cover design, and customisable lighting—making it easier than ever to create a vibrant and healthy aquatic environment at home.
One of the standout features of the Flex 2.0 is its integrated filtration system, which now includes a flexible, modular media setup and whisper-quiet pump with rubberised feet for reduced vibration. The 9 Gal model features oversized foam, carbon and BIOMAX biological media, while the 15 Gal model includes an EZ-lift handle and stackable media chambers for added convenience and configurability. Both models include a designated heater channel to support stable tropical water conditions.
Lighting is powered by adjustable RGB + White LEDs, controllable via remote for colour customisation and dynamic visual effects. With up to 2000 lux and a colour temperature of 6500–7000 K, the LEDs support both plant growth and clear viewing. Each model features independent dual output nozzles for water flow control, as well as a spray bar option (included on the 15 Gal) to diffuse water gently for sensitive species or planted setups.
Several smart updates to the tank cover improve usability and airflow. These include a feeding port for quick access, integrated risers for improved ventilation, rear cover hinges for easy maintenance, and a power cord management channel to reduce clutter. Multiple enhancements also optimise cover fit and access, improving both function and appearance.
